Garage List

Looks great mate!

I'm sure you could remove them yourself and drop it off at a painter? It wouldn't even cost $100 to paint those two thin strips. And if its painted right, it will look just like factory!

They don't always rub. Only when driving on an uneven road with someone with me in the car!

Thanks! My smash repairer wanted to paint them actually but he said he could only do the upper part as the lower part is very thin and attached to the door. He said the paint will crack and will look fugly!

looks perfect!

do you mind PM'ing or even listing here how much the fit and paint (for the front rear bar part) would have costed roughly?

i'm on the look out for a 335i and my budget doesn't allow for a msport version but i love the looks of that front bar so definitely thinking about doing it

Does anyone else have rolled rear guards from the factory?

I vaguely recall reading an article years ago on how efficient the german bmw plant operates, whilst their vehicles are mass produced they have a host of individual unique options (colour of interior, m sport items, 19" rims, sport suspension etc) and I recall that they even perform guard rolling inhouse when the m sport suspension and 19" rims were optioned?

Well most tyre shops believe that BMW guards have been rolled from factory which it somewhat true..but its not rolled completely flat. It still has that step.

If you want to do it at Northshore Collision where I had mine done, it's going to be so expensive! NRMA paid my bill! A reasonable place should it for around $800-$1000. Good luck!
