Did some seal level runs tonight guys - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

Well fellas, happy to report that running at sea level in 50 degree weather is a huge benefit. I gained nearly a full second quicker ET and 5 mph from my best at Bandimere.

Here are the details

Did some runs last night at Sacramento Raceway, finally not dead last on the list... Gotta love sea level runs.

Nice! My friend has a 2011 or '12 S5 Coupe with the V8 6MT. I imagine the sea level performance would be pretty on-par with your times, but you'd do better up here due to the SC.

I had my car out in Cali not long after I bought it. After I came down Tejon pass out of Victorville into LA I could just feel the 'lag' go away and the car become so much more responsive. Its amazing what sea level does. I got some really poor tanks of gas when I was out that way....really poor, because it was just so much fun flooring it everywhere.

Word fellas, just goofing around. I do love how fast cars feel out in Cali. My girls 135 vert with DCT is just pimp out there too. So I get at least to see what an N55 feels like.
