hello all,

i have a e90 3series that needs the main headlight bulb changing (not side/dipped lights)

cant find my manual at present.. which bulb do require..??

If its halogen light, dipped and main are H7.

Best H7 bulbs are the likes of Philips Xtreme Vision +100% or Osram Nightbreakers

Whiter than standard bulbs but 'xenon look' bulbs are shit. They're just normal bulbs with a blue coating, so light output ends up reduced. Loads of people have tried them and just gone back to standard.

Plus they're usually Far-Eastern shit with no "CE" mark, off-axis focussing and only last a few weeks. And they look wank.

As Frobius said, the Xtreme Vision is a worthwhile upgrade, just don't buy the blue crap.

I went for Halfords 90% brighter ones. I would say they are a bit whiter than standard.
