I'm not sure, but it should be ok, worst case the car might throw codes expecting the paddles to be there. But given that it's possible to get an AT car without paddles, that should be solvable via coding. The coder would just need to remove the option code for the paddles so your car thinks it never had it in the first place.

Or...you could add small black switches on back of steering wheel. Use the old harness for AT wheel and wire in the switches so you don't modify the car only the wheel.
You gotta figure out what wires do what though, might be little difficult.

I need an answer for this, I have a seller waiting on me. I have an auto with no paddles.. He has a manual steering wheel (with no paddles ofcourse).. I can't find answers anywhere, any immediate feedback would be great!!

Where'd my VTEC go?

There is no difference between auto and manual steering wheels. Just if you have paddles, you'll lose paddle functionality obviously.
