2012 E92 335 xDrive Photos/Build

So, I've had my E92 for over 2.5-3 years now. I came from the R56 world. I have always loved the body on these E9X's and I knew I was going to end up looking at a few options. Fast forward to now, I've done a lot of modifications to the car. I regret a few but overall, I think it's perfect to what I wanted done specifically. I will continue to post more photos and links to my Youtube page as I go on adventures, car events, and more.

Modifications as followed through my last few years...

Engine:

VRSF 7" FMIC
VRSF CP
VRSF DP
Performance Exhaust
aFe dry panel filter
Fuel It Stage 2 LPFP
MHD custom maps by Wedge
3.5 tmap sensor
Pure Stage 2 turbo and DV+ going on in 2 weeks.
and some other small things I can't remember right now.

Suspension:

KW V1's(Sold)
Koni Yellows and Eibach 'i' springs(currently)
FA 500(soon)
Turner Motorsports adjustable endlinks
R1 Concept slotted rotors
Hawk HPS 5.0 brake pads
SS brake lines from stoptech

Exterior:

3M vinyl wrapped burnt orange
Tints all the way around
M4 spoiler fitted for E92 wrapped in gloss black(going on in a week or so)
Front splitters wrapped in gloss black(going on shortly)
Yellow fog lights
VMR 710 wheels(current summer setup). Going with Apex wheels soon.
Continental DW summer tires
Yokahama IceGuard winter tires
Sold my 17" wheels a while back for 18" 187's powdercoated gloss black.
I am sure I am missing a few other things.

Interior:

M3 CF trim
3M vinyl wrapped burnt orange center consoles
Alacantara shifter sleeve and e-brake by BMW.
WeatherTech mats
Ordering a custom steering wheel from Nelson Racing soon
I am probably missing small little bits but oh well.

One of my big agenda's is getting my turbo on shortly and getting my front bumper rewrapped. I wasn't thinking when I could have put PPF over it to prevent rock chips. This will get done after my turbo in the coming weeks. During the installation of the turbo, I will be getting my wheels and calipers powercoated. As I am only planning to daily drive the car, I am not going to go any crazier than what I have or what I listed. I will be buying another car in a year or so(but keep my E92).

Love the wrap! Start putting some CF pieces on there and you will be set

noticed you said you regret a few of the mods. Interested to hear about the ones you didn't like/ didn't work out for you. Sick car man.

I wished I went with Forgestar F14's in 19's rather then the VMR's in 18's. Another regret I have is not going with Fortune Auto 500 coilovers from the start over KW's and my current suspension.

Did you get pre-cut headlight tint or did you do it yourself?

I did it myself. It was a PITA, I highly recommend ordering it pre-cut.

It's good enough. Better than stock, however with our mishaped roads here I feel every bump. Over most surfaces it's smooth and planted. I did like how the KW's took a beating better. I think I have to change my stock bump stops in order to fully appreciate the ride. I still see Fortune Auto 500's in the near future for me. I might consider Air Lift Performance suspension. For $3,500, I think it's a bargain what you're getting. Only time will tell

Given I am on a 93 map with the first revision from Twisted, it will take time to truly dial it in. The power is definitely stronger than a FBO E50 stock turbo. It's crazy how much power I was missing up top when it continues to pull past 5.5k rpms. I can't wait to finish this map and get started on the E30 map. I may eventually go with meth and E30 or straight race fuel as my killer map. We'll see when the time comes on what I decide.

+1. I like cf in really high end/supercars. Not saying it doea not go well on our cars, just that I think gloss black fit these cars very well.
