CCC DVD update

I recently downloaded the updates for my CCC unit and burnt them on to dvds. I've read a few different posts about it taking a long time for the new disc to download after putting it into the car. I also read I can stop the process and it picks back up when the car is started again, is this true ? Also could I say insert the disc and drive well its updating or is this something I need to just leave the car on with a battery charger hooked up? Thanks for any input!

Cheers

It takes only about 10 minutes, regardless of whether the car is on or off. The DVD in the CCC reads the disc with the car on and off. After about 10 minutes, you will no longer get the green screen saying that the DVD is being read - it will give you the maps, instead.

I'm planning on doing the same - thanks for the info!
