Body Work Heads: Help! How to remove large chunks of Betalink residue?

Hey guys, i was able to remove my splitters which were held on by betalink. problem is now i have large chunks of residue. as i scrape them off, they leave thin layers of residue that escape my scraper. my method is to just soak with goof off (citrus blend) and go to town... except it doesnt always work

what do you guys recommend? i dont think i can sand when they're in chunks, but i might be able to sand it down after i remove the chunks. what do you think?

regarding my scraper, im using a thin plastic silly putty thing from home depot. do you have any better ideas?

thanks for your help!

bmw say its only possible to remove betalink "mechanically" horrible stuff. if you sand it off you will likely damage surface of paint. i had to get it off my bootlid ended up damaging paint and had to respray.
