Just finished the update on my 2011. I've left the my torrent up as a seed (only 50 KiB of upload bandwidth though).

I have gone back and deleted the torrent files from my first two attempts. Post #58 of this thread has the valid torrent file.

This is awesome to know. I am brand new to the site and also a new first time BMW owner. Does anyone know how quickly you can get the FSC code after contacting sieras5?

got mine in under an hour. I would make sure your car prompts you for update before you pay him.

Thanks to sergej for the fsc code, i buy it, but i did not use it, the car did not ask me for the fsc code, dont know why, but its all update 2103 maps. and working.

Well, I'm looking for updates to my previous map which was a 2011, and still not seeing any general improvement.

Atlantic City, NJ airport had a traffic circle approaching it after exiting Atlantic City Expressway. The circle has been gone for over a year yet the map still shows it in place.

Curious if anyone is seeing improvements?

Map also has issues with addresses that contain dashes, such as 32-11 Main Street. Seems it'll only let you select 1-32, etc.

The portable TomTom is still better!

Been following this thread; read all 14 pages.

I have a 2010 335 e90, built in sept '09. I inserted USB and nothing even happened. I assume that I have same problem as WDEERFIELD, but am curious, why is there so much apparent inconsistency between those who the USB update works and those who is does not?

Seems like sloppy engineering by BMW.

Thanks for the torrent, guys! And thanks to Sergej for the code...all went smooth - upgraded from 2011 to 2013! All in all, approx. 45 minutes.

You need to wait a bit until the usb drive content is read, then you get the prompt and, as detailed in the thread, the operation can resume if stopped. Pretty straightforward.

Initially it took around a minute until I got the prompt to upgrade. Once that was completed and the system restarted, since the usb drive (btw, my drive was formatted as FAT32) was still in the glove compartment usb port, it took about 2-3 minutes to prompt me that to content on the drive is not offering nothing new and asked me if I still want to update. So, I guess it varies.

How did you saved it onto the flash drive? After you download the file you have to open it up and drag it over to the flash drive. Once you open it up there should be one file and a sub-folder in it. Just drag those two item over and it should work.

You might want to check you downloaded the file correctly onto your USB drive. I have the exact car you have, and things went just fine for me.

I was wondering if this is the most recent service bulletin: SI B 65 04 09 or if there is a newer one. I found this website but I don't have access to it to see what the most recent software is, does anybody have a way to get the most recent SB's?
