Rpm's stoping for a second? Than continues....?
When driving my 135i, I'm running jb4 stage 2 iso. I notice my car is very picky on what gear it wants to start in when going WOT. for instance I'f I'm going 60 and want to punch it my car rather me go to around 4k rpms and than it goes. My question is let's say I'm doing around 40-50 and downshift to 5th from 7th my rpms will stop for a second around 5k than go but no jerking or any hesitation. If I repeat this a few times my tranny overheats. Any idea why this happens? Otherwise my car runs fine and I can floor it all day in drive and manual but when I try to manually Downshift to the right gear so I don't need to use kick down I'm doing something wrong. Anyone with dct with any insight to why this happens?
