Ok guys, my 2010 e92 335i xdrive lease is ending this may and I will be

purchasing it! I want to know if theres anything I should be warned about or

ask the dealer for anything? Is there anything that I should be asking them as

in replacing parts? Should I go to another garage and have it inspected and then let my

dealer know what should be fixed? I would also like to know if I should bargain the dealer

for

the buyback? Should I talk to a manager to see if they will give me a better

price?

Get them to change anything that is damaged or worn.
Update all your systems in the car to the latest software including the DME and Navi aswell.

You rock! thanks man! Btw will they change my seat covers? They're badly worn out and the button my jeans has scratched the sides off.. Crapy quality! And when should I bargain? It ends in may!

No they won't, that's a wear and tear issue. Change how you get in and out of your car, that's how it happened in the first place. Replacing it won't fix the underlying issue, the customer in this case.

What about all the wear on the seat other then the scratches? The leather has gone all lose. I know that on infiniti's they will change the covers.. And a friend of mine who owns a 335 said that they should be changing then on mine!

Not to sound like an ass, but unless your "friend" works for a dealer and is willing to take the risk of replacement himself, that means nothing.
That's like saying I know my windshield is shattered, but there's a small defect where it isn't broken and it should be replaced under warranty. Damaged is damaged, period. Making warranty not possible.

re seat covers, why not just ask and see if the dealer will do it under warranty? As someone else pointed out, Infiniti also fixed my seats under warranty when I bought one used.

How many miles do you have on your car? Honestly my SA is a good friend of mine and there is NO WAY he would be able to pull a stunt of changing seat covers lol. If its that big of a deal to you, take then to an upholstery shop and they can re-finish them for less than $200 bucks a seat...just my 2cents

My friend had an 08 335i E93, he was a fat guy and the driver side seat had a tear in the corner due to his weight and how he would get out of the car, and the dealer didn't fix it.
