Condensation in Headlamps

Came home tonight and noticed both headlamps have condensation in them. Is this normal, or should I book it in with the stealer to get them fixed under warranty?

I suffered a similar problem tonight on my pre LCI NS headlamp...

No stone chips and had the car for three months not seen before.

What's more frustrating just comeback from BMW dealer after them having two weeks for replacement of rear screen because of a broken rear heating element, then suffer other season related problem?

Any ideas? Is it because car has done no miles in two weeks - gradual build up - en superheated by headlight?

I know what you mean. Mine was in most of last week getting squeaks, creaks and rattles fixed. Then I find this tonight - so it needs to go in again.

Agreed, I had a 06 plate 330d and never had any headlight problems with it. I realised they were expensive - so I bet the final bill would be nigh on 2K with labour for both headlamps.
