Changing sport plus colour of wheel?

I have a White Sport plus E90 with the standard grey metalic wheel, only covered 3k and not sure to have the wheels sprayed to bright silver finish as i think it looks better on a white car than the darker grey, there is no marks at all on my wheels now, totally new but not sure they suit, what are your opinions?
shall i do it or will it just look like a msport but look better?

Don't respray them, just sell them and buy some silver ones of equal condition to yours.

Actually buy some first, then sell them! If you went down that route, PM me

I think the silver alloys look v. nice but I think the M Sport Plus ones you have are quite nice too!!

Hopefully someone will come along with a pic soon for you to compare, my pic won't help because my car is Black!

I think those M Sport Plus alloys look good on Silver or Grey cars.

Dark wheels don't do it for me, they just blend in with the tyre and the under arch when the daylight is fading. Wheels should stand out all the time IMO and dark ones don't. Go silver but not one with loads of big shiny flecks in it, OEM finish would do. Or buy some as Hope suggested.

I am positive if you threw up a thread on the for sale forum someone would do a straight swap for their standard silver 193's!

I think your grey wheels on white looks great - better than silver will look!
If I had white with silver wheels, I would be looking to get them grey like yours.
It's what you want that's important though - it's your car.

I like it as it is, I think darker wheels work really well on lighter cars

On a side note, is it just the E92 that came with black mirror caps on the Sport Plus?

I think a white e90 suits the darker coloured wheels, but then so does silver. I've got silver wheels on white and I'm not changing. Here's a pic for comparison, if it helps:

The ferric grey mv3's go for a lot more than the silver one's, you could get a swap plus cash ur way if u opened up a For trade thread mate, good luck

Personally, I love the dark grey wheel's u've got, it looks much better than plain silver

I won't say silver would look better. But I do have Lancer 2011 in white with OEM silver alloys, they are very nice indeed. But, your current alloys in silver (as in the picture above) might not look very impressive. Maybe you need sthg like 8 or 10 spoke alloys in silver so that it would look better IMHO.

Personally, the current one you got in grey are awesome! If you really want some alloys in silver, just swap them over but dont spray them as OEM paint are better! I have had alloys repainted professionally before but the paint dont last long! dont know shud blame the paintwork or the chemicals in the detergent when have them washed
