download this program Hash Tab unzip and install it.. and then go to the iso file within a file browser and right click on the file and go to properties and then you'll now have a tab "File Hashes".. click on the tab and it'll calculate 3 different File Hashes (which are kinda like serial numbers that would be specific to that file and that file ONLY).. and so you would look at the MD5 one

(these MD5 Hashes are for the stadard discs)
the MD5 for Region 1 should be: 52626C482D3C1E842445B44B5B45725B

the MD5 for Region 2 should be: 37EE8BA8F6D382F53864BB1F87150441

if the MD5 for each of your iso files match those EXACTLY then the files are good.. if they dont match these ones exactly then the files are bad

(just in case anyone else is having trouble and wants to check theirs.. here are the MD5 Hashes for the discs WITH the red light cams and speed traps added)
MD5 for Region 1 w/cams: FA8698405CC2FA582BD464F651D8F4E9

MD5 for Region 2 w/cams: ED24E26CF245946CC3461C9AC9BA5951
I checked them, the MD5 is the same as you provide.
So I think the problem is the DVD-R, hope to get it work with another brand tomorrow.

And I can keep my computer working on 7/24, the upload speed is around 800kb/s, I already uploaded about 3GB.
But the download speed is too slow, I spent 4 hours just downloaded 28% of region 2, and 5% of region 1.

Burn at 4x, when done eject current DVD from your car (do not start your car at all) load new DVD and let car go back to sleep (1/2 hour). Go back start your and check your NAV (as long as your image and burn was done without any errors it should work).

Once you introduce the new DVD on your vehicle Nav System, you should get a message of New Version. If you get that, than you are on the right path.

Maybe I need to buy another brand's DVD-R to try.

I use Memorex LightScribe DVD+R and had no problems at all.

ya ive used both +R and -R before so im kinda doubting that changing the DVD brand is gonna help any.. and with your files being good, its gotta be the burn speed.. try it at 4x i think thats gonna work for you.. but beyond that im out of ideas, short of throwing the files on a thumb drive and going and trying someone elses DVD burner

The DVD drive in your car is pretty picky. Make sure it's clean. Blow some computer "dust-off" or similar in the slot, or better yet, get one of those cleaner CD/DVDs with the little brush glued to the bottom of the disc.

Yes, my discs are so clean, the are brand new. And I used the a 2012 navigation dvd (get from ebay) that I never used, it works fine. The system noticed this was a new version of navigation in 10 seconds.

There must be something that you are not doing right, maybe overseen a step or something.

1. Download all 12 .rar files (Region 1) or 10 .rar files (Region2).
2. unzip part 1 (it will unzip all other parts)
3. there will be a folder named ccc_1 or something similar (it will contain additional .rar files)
4. unzip the additional .rar files from folder. (it will create another folder with the ISO file)
5. Burn that iso file to the DVD. I do not change the burning speed, I leave that in auto, but that is up to you.
6. minutes later, you should be good to go.

My HP disc just stopped working today, which was about 3 days of use. I'm trying my poloroid again just because I want to try my lightscribe i never use. This time I am burning at 2x speed on a different drive and see if it works.

While burning you should really try to get the slowest write speed possible and use high quality discs. My verbatim still works and thats a good brand, I'll let you know if the slower speed helps it read my poloroid disc.

Finally, I make it!!!!
And I think I need to make a clear steps about my burning to help someone who has the same problem.
1. I check my files' MD5, and everything is fine.
2. I switch to "Verbatim DVD-R" to burn.
3. I choose NERO to burn at 4x.
4. After burning done, insert to DVD drive and get it work.

Then I do a test, I use the same steps to burn in a "Sony DVD+R" and "HP DVD+R", both of them cannot be read in my car.

So I think the problem is about the "DVD+R", maybe my driver is so picky, but "DVD-R" does can be read.

I've been using Memorex LightScribe DVD+R and ImgBurn with no issues.

I am glad you finally got it to work.

Now help us help other that may have similar situations.

Yes, that's why I think my DVD driver is picky.

Will download and seed, but it seems to be taking really long. I stopped seeding the original region 1 @ a 1:10 ratio.

I think it has more to do with brand than the +R or -R.

My HP DVD+R Lightscribe worked for a few days when I burnt it on 16x speed.
My Verbatim DVD-R seems to work the best (burnt at 16x) and I use that when the others dont work (Its the 2012 version)
My Polaroid DVD-R lightscribe worked for a day being burnt at 16x speed but I am retrying it @ 2x speed and will see how long it lasts.
I also have Sony DVD+R's but don't really want to try those.

Sorry to hear that. That is the problem with torrents. People get what they want but do not want to seed for others. My computer is on and has been on since day one. Hopefully you will get seeders for you file.
