Extended warranty for a diesel E92 320d - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

Hi all !
I am about to buy an E92 320d. Warranty is 2 years. Would you advice me to extend this warranty to 5 years for 1000 eur / USD 1200 ? And could you please explain why ?

€1000 for 3years extra warranty seems reasonable. go for it!

E90 2.0d engines are famous for turbo and clutch fail at around 200k km (might be sooner according to your driving). If your insurance cover that-go for it.
