First of all I am assuming Micro and Cabin filters are same, so please correct me if I am wrong. My filter replace was due and I started getting warning on startup so I called dealer and they quoted $100+tax so I decided to do my first DIY.

I just ordered Mann filter from Amazon and saw some instruction which seems be easy, just take few screw under the hood and replace it. I also found instruction on how to reset the service indicator.

My question is when the filter replacement is due on the car, does this only include one filter (long one) which you replace under the hood. Not sure if there are multiple filters that needs to be changed every time is due.

Just the big one under the hood. Funny because I literally did mine last night after ordering it from Amazing Friday. Air lost its smell and smells fresher.

4 screws (8mm I believe) in the rearmost part under the hood. Then it lifts out and you replace the filter! Couldn't be easier.

Keep an eye on the screws, they are easy to lose.

Curious if the filter you ordered has the activated charcoal, I have seen some online that did not.

There's just one filter, and remember to reset your computer.

There are some with activated charcoal and some with out. Just two different options, one is cheaper one is more expensive. Same as the filter for Mercedes. Easy replacement but I haven't had to do it on my own yet, still under maint and warranty.
