Nice job getting a baseline. Not bad for OTS! Pro tune next?

I think I'm good for now on tuning the car

I'm surprised the baseline numbers were so high. Probably cause of the bolt on mods and the 100 octane.

Solid numbers. Is this just the OTS Maps or has it been modified (whether you did it in ATR or got a ProTune)? Also, why not go with the E30 Maps?

Yes these are OTS maps never been modified.

I didn't feel comfortable using 30% ethanol in my car plus it was easier for me to go down my local gas station and pump 100 octane.

That's awesome that you can get it right out of a pump. Now only if 100 octane was less than ~$8.50 a gallon

Nice numbers OP. Looks like you had some wheel spin just under 4500 rpm. If you go back put a few hundred pounds in the trunk and I think you'll find you're making more power that what you did. Also, a few gallons of e85 and you should be able to get a little more timing.

BTW, love the white. Clean and sexy...

Oh wow didn't know wheelspin was possible when getting your car dyno'd. Now I'm curious what it would've put down

Ohh yeah, wheel spin is definitely possible on the dyno. Ratcheting it down a little tighter will usually take care of it until you get start making BIG numbers.

Either way a 110whp/150wtq delta is nice for an OTS map.

I just dyno'd at HPF in Portland and my first couple of pulls I had a big dip at 4000 rpm. We ended up putting boxes of sand in the trunk, @ 250 lbs. Went from 425 whp to 440 whp. Even then I had a small 10 whp dip when my turbos spooled, but we didn't have any more boxes of sand for weight and I wasn't about to sit in the trunk to get another pull.

I'm going through the chart and from 2750 rpm through 4250 rpm the race map doesn't look smooth at all compared to the baseline map. What does this mean? Any ideas?

You should probably grab some datalogs, you may be having a slight overboost there.

Of coarse, wheel spin is probably a BIG factor and it's semi-normal to have a slightly "wavier" dyno as you make more power just because of how an inertia based dyno reads.

Thanks for sharing. I am hoping to find the time to dyno baseline, OTS Stage 2+, PTF Stage 2+, OTS E30, and PTF E45 to share with the community soon.
