Tire Pressure Monitor

I am buying style 94 rims, but they do not have tire pressure monitors, these rims are only for winter, can I get away with not having the tire pressure monitors in the wheel and just deal with my car telling me low pressure every time i drive?
Does anyone else do this?

Yes, I did this with my summer wheels. At first it was kind of annoying to see warning light the entire time I drove but I definitely got used to it and eventually didn't notice it. I also checked the psi on my tires regularly. Are you running RFT's?

I did that last year with my winter tires. Got tired of hitting "ignore" on the stalk and seeing the ! light all the time; bought sensors for this winter.

If you have go-flats, it's not really a problem as you will notice the flat. If RFT snows, you might not notice and ruin the tire.
