So about this pin 8...
When is it actually necessary to have? From what I've read so far it depends on what year you are trying to code. In this case, I have a second cable that I want to code Dcan cars only with. Do i need to solder pin 7 and 8 together or just leave them separate? I opened up my cable and confirmed they are not touching at all.
