hey fellow beamer addicts. i've officially caught the mod bug and decided to change the grilles on my new 2012 328i coupe.

so the question is... which one will look better??? piano or matte black???

and WHERE can i get them???

also, anyone that has space grey (which is what i have).. please post your pics up so i can see... thanks!!!

Get Matte on a space grey for sure.

I see you're in T.O.. so you have a bunch of options.

Extremeparts.ca (local store in Etobicoke) - ask for Gino
Pacific Mall perhaps (same ebay stuff)
Most e90post vendors also will ship them over to you..

If it were me - I'd go with ebay.

almost all the members here on this forum have black grilles... in both either gloss black or matte black.

that being said, there are also a gazillion members that have space gray e9x's.

Definitely not matte with space grey. Piano pulls off the look really well, especially if you have shadow line trim.

I got my black gloss grilles from modmy3. They were cheap and the quality is excellent.

Yep. Gloss black. I had a pretty sexy SG before this bimmer, and I have to say, ESPECIALLY with shadowline trim- gloss is boss!

How interesting! I was on the search for a set of matte black for my iS and ended purchasing a set from Turner Motorsport. I wanted a matte black because I got bored of the piano black. I'll probably sell those in the next weeks. I should have a picture or two by next week (off).

i'm still undecided about the grilles lol i do have the shadowline trim... but i've seen some with the shadownline and matte black grilles. still looks sexy but yeah.. this is something i'm going to have to think about for awhile lol this is what happens when you catch the mod bug... decisions.. decisions!! lol

I got the high gloss black grills with matte black slats from bimmian.com , they were kinda pricy but look great and good quality.
