STILL cant understang why BMW would use alloy bolts to hold the valve cover on the car? if i could rebuild the motor i would. id drill out all the threads and put some nice stainless thread inserts and screws and tighten that thing so hard that that seal will never leak again. i love the 335i but im sorry to say cars in todays world are made disposable! throw it in the gutter and buy another..LOL anyways im getting it fixed for AU$480 wich is fair, either that or i can do it myself for $80. but to be honest for my stress and health ill let someone ealse do it. i just hope its not going to pop again under hi boost. sometimes i wish i bought a toyota supra 2jz at 1000hp as a dyno junkee and a bmw330D for crusing and reliability.

turns out my injectors are the latest, the bmw changed the cam sensor. He thinks it might be the DME. overfueling the injectors!!! dammm. ( the problem did start after i did that 15ohm mod)

valve cover gasket has also been fixed, and new plugs, also i do have a leaky injector that will be fixed by a new seal. the problem is so eratic we think its the DME!!! this is not just rough idle, but sounds like my car is a V8 with cams and sptits fuel out the rear. the mechanic strongly belives its the DME overfueling injectors.
