h&r sport spring on sport shocks
I was wondering if there were any issues installing H&R Sport Springs on OEM sport shock?
my car is around 50k miles. i tried to find some info and looks like its a bad idea. what do you think ? the other "issue" is that i live in NY so the roads are not the best in USA.. i dont want to find my self obligated to change to shocks after couple of months.. |

This has been discussed many times. Installing springs that aren't matched for the shocks will only put unnecessary wear on the shocks and they will go bad sooner. @ 50k miles, don't expect them to last you very long if you install springs.
Do it right the first time. |

People tend to pair H&R Sport & Race springs with Koni Yellow struts and shocks. With the Eibach Pro Kit springs, people usually use Koni FSD struts and shocks. Bilstein Sport struts and shocks are another option, though not as popular. Dinan offers custom-valved Koni Yellows with externally adjustable rear shocks (not available with the standard Koni Yellow shocks). |
