I have been asked on occasion if my car is an M3 (usually by people who don't know the brand very well and just make assumptions since I am debadged) but so far they have all been impressed to find out it is "only" a modded 335.
Why aren't there more girls like you in Cali? My Ex always gave me a WTF look when I talked about Turbos, FMIC, COBB, FBO etc.
Girls be trippin around here. DAMN.

OP Sorry for

But seriously, do as you plz. At the end of the day, you're the only one that has to be satisfied.

I have a m sport 335i as well, anyone who mistakes a 3 series m sport for a m3 is a idiot.

Completely different body shape
Wider wheel arches
Side skirts
Front and rear bumper
Quad exhausts
The m3 badge...
And the v8 sound not to mention.

An idiot? Thats a little harsh isnt it? When I think of mods the LAST thing I would do is try and make my car look like another. Isnt the idea to be DIFFERENT??

Yes it is i agree.

Well okay not idiot, but if you know anything about cars, you should be able to distictify a 3 series 335i from a e92 m3.

Money money money money. You mod your car for looks just like people mod their car to look like a m3, for looks.

What a total waste of money on a pathetically slow model.

I don't agree with all these people trying to make there 3 series look like a m3. As mentioned why spend all that money to turn it into a m3 body when that money can go towards one.

And second of all, even if you did spend all that money on the body, you still are left with the twin turbo engine, not a NA v8 master piece.

Not to mention the m3 diff, brakes, suspension, power button.

Put your pennies in a jar and save up because a 335i will never be a m3, faster maybe yes with RBs and full fbo and meth but not better IMO.

And I have a 335i ...
I think the guy who did this lived in Egypt and his reasoning was that an M3 costs $400k to $500k there due to the tax structure. If I remember correctly, he put an n54 in it so it wasn't a slow car.

Overall, it's not my thing, but I understand why he did it. Personally, I'm getting a new front bumper this spring and am going M-sport over an m3 rep.
