I've been reading a lot about car accidents lately...

A couple days ago, there was a terrible accident in my area. Two high school seniors were killed and two others seriously injured after another careless driver rammed into them. Pretty terrible to read about.

Then I come on here and see a bunch of pictures of wrecked cars, luckily with no serious injuries.

It always makes me think about how dangerous it can really be out there on the road.

Just wanna remind everyone to be careful.. especially if you're living in the north and expecting some snow.

Am sure it was much worse in the 1950s and 60s before any sort of safety regulations.

Saying that Parents didn't but their teenagers 400hp cars back then either. Two kids died in a Ferrari the next major road up from us about three weeks ago. Only the spectacular crashes tend to make the news.

I think paying more attention to the other jackasses around you is a much more valuable investment.

+1000!!!

Too bad the selling point with most new cars nowadays is how many distracting electronic things they can add to the car. Tweeting from the car? Status updating while driving? Seriously?
