FS: BMS Downpipe Fix V3 - Brand New

SOLD
This is the latest v3. Bought brand new. Never used.
I got rid of the downpipes and never needed to install this.

Starting next year Ontario will no longer be doing sniffer tests, only OBD2 scans.
This will allow you to pass these emissions readiness tests.

For 1998 and newer light-duty vehicles, the ministry will introduce on-board diagnostic testing. This is a computer-based emissions test that interacts with the manufacturer-installed computer that continuously monitors a vehicle’s emission components. An advisory test is also being introduced for OBD-enabled heavy-duty vehicles.

The on-board diagnostic computer can identify when the threshold for pollutants emitted by a vehicle is more than one and a half times the manufacturers' standards. The current test may not fail a vehicle until it exceeds the manufacturers’ standards for pollutants by four times or more.

Today, almost 90 per cent of the five million light-duty vehicles subject to Drive Clean testing in Ontario are equipped with on-board diagnostic technology. By 2013, that number will rise to almost 93 per cent of these vehicles requiring testing.

On-board diagnostic computers became standard in Canadian light-duty vehicles in 1998, so vehicles with model years 1988-97 are not equipped for the new test. The two-speed idle tailpipe test, which directly measures hydrocarbons and carbon monoxide exiting the vehicle tailpipe, will ensure that grossly polluting older vehicles continue to be identified and repaired.

By 2013, approximately seven per cent of light-duty vehicles in Ontario will be tested using the two-speed idle test method. Every year, fewer of these older vehicles will remain on the road and their total emissions impact will continue to decline.

Depends what kind of testing you have in your region.
Item has been sold.
