Is there interest of a clean meth tank trunk install?

If there is one thing that surprises me, it's that despite the popularity of meth kits, we still don't have an integrated tank install solution for our cars. I know there is the WW kit, but a lot of people have been switching for obvious reasons.

And I know Advan made a trunk boot kit, but for E92 and I believe they stated it's not meant for mass production. This seems like an ideal location, but what about something on the side, similar to the integrated sub enclosure offered by musicarnw? Something that molds to the curve of the wheel well and integrates the tank and pump?

There is also this piece:

While I haven't seen this in person, it seems large enough to house both items, and you have quick access to everything.

So I guess the question is, of all the things made specifically for our cars, why hasn't anyone done this? And would there be interest? I've been wanting to try meth again, but definitely not the WW kit again, and the thing that's holding me back is not wanting to permanently drill into anything to mount an ugly exposed tank in my trunk.

I would love a solution like this. I've helped a couple guys just in the past weeks customize a stealth setup, but it's always a pain in the ass and a weekend project turns into a month long headache.

Something plug and play would be amazing!

I would be all over it.

Maybe in the winter months I'll try to get a one off going that would be easy to replicate.

I was just about to purchase the WW MEth kit from BMS... after the hood fires were brought to my attention, the whole thing went foul.

All the trunk kits look horrible! I want to keep my car as OEM as possible...

I would love an enclosed trunk kit that can enclose any meth spills or purges that seem to happen with the pump...

For what it's worth, someone local to me used this piece for their install. However, they said it doesn't even completely conceal a 2.5 gallon tank.

As I really want to go with a 5 gallon, I am likely going to take it to an custom audio shop and have them build a simple enclosure. I wish there was more interest, but it doesn't seem likely for a vendor to pick this up.

enrita. Thank you once again for the help in my other thread.

Your setup looks quite smart actually!

People have been mentioning that even the pumps can purge a little meth if they need too.

Do you find that happening to you? I guess it isn't too bad as the pump is in the plastic area of the boot.

Forgive my ignorance. The red and black wires are the + & - to power the pump?
Where is the tubing running to and from the pump?
It is such a clean setup, i can't see where the pick up from the tank to the pump and where the tubing to the engine bay runs...

Based on the setup above, i cant imagine it would cost a lot to make an enclosure around the tank and wrap everything in trunk carpet material. voila- clean oem look.

I'm installing a n2o kit soon so I'm thinking about building something lightweight to hide the meth tank and n2o bottle back there. Easily removable of course. Maybe black painted plexiglass or something.

I still need to hide the meth pump, but here is my converted PWM kit. It will be much nicer when the pump is hidden, but it's ok for now. To me this type of tank is ideal since it is totally hidden. if you can make something like this cheaper, but with equal quality you'll have a winner.

Not sure I want to spend that kind of cash on a meth tank though. I wish someone in the US would mass produce something like this to get the cost down.

Hmmm. It certainly is a lot of money!

Could i technically purchase a WW Meth kit such as - http://www.juiceduptuning.co.uk/shop...duct.asp?ID=51

and meth elbow
http://www.juiceduptuning.co.uk/shop...duct.asp?ID=50

and then just purchase my own tank and tubing and make it all work?

Is it as simple as that?

Skinrock is talking about my trunk mount meth kit. I wanted to hide the tank, didn't like the idea of meth getting on my amp, and did not want anything to bang on my tank if I have something in my trunk.

You could also relocate the CD changer too.
