Rear diff going out???

I'm new to the 355i. I hear a grinding noise, sounds like a wheel bearing but I'm not sure, at speeds between 50-70mph. It gets louder when I turn right as the road curves to the right; it goes away when I turn left as the road curves left. Any ideas??

I apologize if I sound confusing.
