On any car- unless you're doing over 120 mph- it does actually nothing but look nice.
Even then, gains are negligible IMO.

i have these as well.. only notice slight difference at highway speeds. put these on when i tuned my car and also put in a high flow drop in filter. noticed a lot more dirt in the air box after installing this. so i guess it is directing more air into the air box at higher speeds. i would say they would probably start having an effect at ~70 mph

Yep those are RPI Scoops alright, I know the owner of that car in the picture. That's Marvin's car (a.k.a M_Truong), lol. Cyba has scoops also but they look more plain compared to the RPI ones. They have little to no function and hp gain, just there to look nice and probably more for a show car.
