E92 front aero lip (Pre-LCI)

Has anyone ever purchased a front aero lip off of Ebay? I was going to go Tischer or buy used off of the forums (OEM) but I've ready of good and bad experiences off of Ebay replicas. I wanted to see what you guys thought. (sorry if this is posted in the wrong section)

lol have you not seen my ebay aero lip thread?

My only recommendation is get it from a proven ebay seller like baysonr (I bought 2 from them after curbing the first one, although I have an M3 rep now). Everything else is a gamble.

Make sure you get a poly one if you are lowered. I got a fiberglass one first and it was completely destroyed in less than a year. Replaced it with a poly rep and its just got minor rub marks on the underside with the same ride height.

Not sure, I got the shitty fiberglass one from a forum vendor and the poly one from the classifieds section from someone that originally purchased it but never installed on their car.

Garage List
Buy OEM. It's worth it.

400+ unpainted vs 200ish painted. Just exploring the replica options out there, as there are good m3 rep bumpers out there and I wanted to see if there are good aero lip reps...

I went with Tischer and got one unpainted and had it painted locally and I am very pleased with both the product from Tischer and the paint job from the local shop...

I got one for my 09 335i off of eBay. The fitment wasn't absolutely perfect but the shop was able to heat up the polyurethane and fit it to my bumper. It looks good and you can't tell of any deficiencies.

I just did that one a couple weeks ago..same one on Ebay for $90 shipped. Overall I'm really happy with the result and will try to get some pics posted tomorrow. I would recommend taking to a reputable paint shop so they do it right, mine had to prime and sand it a few times because there were dimples/little holes kind of like a golf ball in areas. They got those out to where it's all smooth and it looks good. Paint cost was $190. Fitment is about 95% and most noticeable on the front two pillars where it sticks up, they are a few millimeters short of going all the way up to the stock bumper in that area.
