You can get springs for an instant drop or get coilovers and be able to adjust the height anytime you want. Most kits will get you around 1.25"-2"

Make 5 people sit in your car so the car is under full weight then measure the space between fender and tire that's the usable drop that allows for tire movement and no rubbing when you hit bumps riding alone but then again this isn't an exact science so take it with a grain of salt

Or just always drive with a full car and let the springs sag after a while.

Don't get springs, go with coilovers. KW V1 is the best suspension I've had, and I've had a lot.

I have H&R Sport springs and Koni Yellow shocks and they gave my e90 a nice drop, but nothing too extreme. Looking back, I would have went with the coil overs for the adjustment aspect. Keep that in mind when you purchase, as you might want that option in the future.
