What size drag radial for the 162's?

Going to pick up some drag radials for my vehicle for the upcoming season and just want to here what others have used on their stack wheels. I'm thinking of running a mickey thompson DR in 265/40/18. I don't do any driving in the twisties it's mostly straightline stuff. Let me know what you've used and how they perform.

I have a 08 335i sedan and want to run a drag radial. I have stock 162 wheels 18" and want to know the max size without rubbing issues? What did you end up going with?

245/40/18 m/t et streets and they got alot of sidewall! I highly recommend them. Dead hook on the street with jb4,dp,dci and meth in all gears! See my other thread for review.

Would just pm you but can't yet. How have they been at the drag strip? Do they handle fine on the street at higher speeds? Have you been caught in the rain yet? Why did you go with the 245 instead of the 265?

Thanks

Rain they are fine. Haven't ben to track with them yet. Don't really push my car that much in the twisties but in a straight line they are fine at high speeds. Went with a 245 cause I saw another person on here running them on the stockers. Glad I did cause the 245 has a really big sidewall. 265 would probably look stupid on a daily.

what about road noise? And you said you didn't go with a 265 bc it would look stupid. Do you think it would still fit fine without any issue?
