Map 7 No Difference?

So I had the flex fuel wires put on the car about three weeks ago and ran my first tank of E85 on Map 5. I did my three pulls and the JB4 took care of the rest as you all know. The car pulled much harder and peaked at about 18psi. However, I filled up again today (7 gallons of E85 and the rest 91) and tried Map 7. It pulled as if it were in Map 1. Its peak boost was only around 13. Any ideas as to why it isn't producing the 18psi it should be? Thanks.

You really would need to do some logs for us to tell. My guess is that it is pulling timing as 7 gal of E85 is a lot and your fuel pump might not be liking that.

Do you have Catless DP? I remember seeing a post by Terry that in order to run map 7 you needed a backend flash

That is not true, most people set map 7 as thier back end flash. I have been running 18+ psi on map 6 with a stock cat for 6 months now just fine.

Still can't figure it out. I tried Map 5 again and it still won't go over 12psi. Starting to get a bit worried.
