Google Maps App for iOS - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

Anyone try out the new Google Maps app for iPhone with iDrive yet? I tried it yesterday and it integrates pretty well with the navigation. It's similar to emailing the maps information to yourself and using MyBMW or Connecteddrive. In this case, you don't have to go through that extra step.

How does it integrate? Is it just the voice directions come over system or ??

I think it's just using the car speakers whenever you bluetooth the phone to the car to use an alternate GPS mapping app.

BTW: I find WAZE is the best one out there. User updated, it not only shows traffic, but also police and hazards in real time!

I agree WAZE has saved me time to time I love how it shows the police
