Hey all

Wife's Infiniti fx35 is at 71k miles. Just had an oil change done Monday and dealership is quoting us about $2,000 in service for some "necessary service"

Some kind of 4x4 service, a fuel induction service and a mid and rear muffler with hardware service. They didn't really go into detail, but gave me the price.

It just seems like an astronomical price. Unless they are talking about replacing the entire exhaust which doesn't make sense to me for only being at 71k miles.

I want to get a second opinion but for all those who have/had g35/g37 etc, does anyone know a reputable independent shop that specializes in Infiniti and nissans?

I tried searching for some Infiniti forums, but didn't have much luck.

Looking to stay in the Stamford/white plains area.

If you're willing to cross the GWB I know a good indy shop with competitive rates. They do all the maintenance on m 06 g35x. PM me if you're interested.
