Anyone in Hong Kong? - Mercedes S class question... - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

I need to rent an S class in hong Kong while I am there this winter. Many rental places list a 2006 as the "new" model, but in the US the new model starts in 2007. Can anyone confirm that in hong kong the newest model S class started in 2006?

I remember first branch of Mercedes S (W221) was delivered to customers at the end of 2005. So 2006 one should be the latest model. You'd better to send the photo and ask the car rental. I would just like to remind you Mercedes S in HKG is just as common as Toyota in Japan. Anyways,welcome and enjoy your stay in HKG.

ok, I will do that. I und that they are common, but all the rental places so far have been trying to trick us with W221 pictures, but when you ask for details, it is the older model.

Oh I see. I have no ideas about the car rentals in HKG. Why don't you consider the BMW 7 (E66)? The interior room is better than S and the handling is also good as a big sedan.
