hid angels (i know its been covered but i need advice)

will a normal, canbus ballast with a relay and powered direct to the battery work on my e92?

i dont know any 1 who does coding and i want a pair asap, its just the cree leds cost as much as the hid's and id prefer the hid kit.

will it work or will i need recoding?

Size: 482.8 KBGo to Alpinemss.com and get one of those hid kits. I've been running mine for a few months with no errors and no problems. The 10k imo is the best, it definitly sets your car apart from the other multitude of bimmers. Everyone has the "pure white" look, I went a different route and I swear everyone and their mommas ask me where I got it from and how they want to do the samething as mine#GetOffMyNuts

What year is your E92?
The 2007 models are very sensitive.

You may need an error corrector if you dont want to do any coding.

HPB (High Performance Bulbs) has a an HID canbus kit and it's intended for 2008+ models to be error free.

I have 6000k 35w HID's for mine. I had to put a relay to the battery, and I soldered 2 4700uf capacitors to the wires that go from the ballast to the bulb. They worked past the error codes, but I ended up coding it out because it was annoying.

mines a 2006, i have got it all working now, used a relay and an error cancellor that has a capacitor built in.

2 things:
- cant dim the drls (yet)
- dont like the look of them. better than leds for sure (and same price) but my outside ring has a very slight green to it and is not 'as full' as say the above picture. im considering oss style rings but need to find some 1 in the uk who can do it for me for a decent price. i kind of feel ive wasted 80pounds. maybe they will look abit better during the day as i was looking at them on fill drl at night. need to find out how to dim them with a dimmer switch or something.

p.s i have 6k bulbs now might uprgrade to 8 or 10 later but scared of that greening effect of the outside bulb because my tubes have some yellowing in them.

Is anyone selling a kit with 25w ballasts? Seems like they'd be less blinding but still give the look everyone wants.
