HELP!! Fault Code 29E0

29E0 : fuel mixture control
Any idea why am I getting this code?
I was running Procede V3 Rev.2 and switched to JB3 1.4 two days ago with my AR catless DP and AE exhaust.
Getting this same code over and over again.

did you reset adaptations? That should be done everytime you change something in the car.

you need the BT cable to do that. Anyway i got fuel mixture once too. i deleted the code and never came back on.

I've seafoamed with car on ramps, and found no leaks and honestly, I'm not sure how 'fuel mixture control' translates into 'air leak'. I was thinking it might be an O2 sensor, injector, or DP fix problem...=(
OP, are you running DP fix?

Diagnosing something from having little information and a code that he says he hasn't seen before must be tough. Especially when the car is not in front of him. How does anyone know if this is even related to the JB? There is an assumption that it could be since the code was a few days after a switch, but it doesn't mean that its automatically at fault. OP- did you try to switch back to the procede to see how it behaved? Now, if it IS directly something that is related, then I can see your argument, but still, he can only know and suggest so much because there are different variables. I am in no way trying to start an argument. I have been on the end of trying to diagnose something over the phone or a text message without a car in front of me and I will tell you that it is a lot easier when you are with the car and can try different things. I just did a quick google search and came across something that might help. It seems like someone asked Terry about this several months back and there was a sensor that was at fault. Maybe you can forward this to Terry to spark his memory a bit.

OH Also check the harness, as I had some bare wires as the shrink tubing started coming off a couple of wires that control fueling. I taped these up and have not had these errors since. I also have a RevII proceded.

how can you NOT think that FUEL MIXTURE CONTROL means the car cant CONTROL THE FUEL MIXTURE because of an outside varriable? leaking injector, wastegates, o2 sensor, air leak.

way way down the list of things to look for- wiring/programming


go find one of those problems.

I replaced my G4 board with the new G5 ISO yesterday morning and today I got these same codes, 29E0 and 29E1. I've never gotten them before so I'm guessing its G5 ISO related. If the OP already asked T and he doesn't know then I'm stumped...Car runs fine but I don't like seeing the SES light in my dash.

I'm getting these codes too and my fuel trims while tuned are maxing out on pump gas at wot. I do have a dp fix installed, too. Dealer had it for four days...they smoke tested it and the reset adaptations in dme (tune was out). If SES light and codes cone back I'll take out the DP fix and see if they reappear. I emailed terry and he wrote back quickly but his only suggestion was to remove the DP fix and see what happens.

Edit: this is after new plugs, coils, and oxygen sensors...
