Will the 125/80 r17 space saver fit e90 335i?

I was just wondering if the 125/80 r17 space saver wheel will clear the brakes/calipers on an e90 335i. I read that you need the 135/80 r17 space saver for it to work. That doesn't change the tire diameter, just the width. The 135 would be wider, how would that make it clear the brakes better? Any help would be appreciated so I can figure out if I need to get a spacer and some extended lugs to get it to work. Thanks

I did some more digging and ended up finding this on realoem.com. I don't know if what it says is right, but it's listed under "e90 335i" and clearly shows a wheel size of "125/80 r17." What do you think? It doesn't list any kind of spacer or adapter or anything.

BMW sells this as a oem 335 spare kit. I have one and it comes with no spacer so that should mean no spacer is needed. BMW sells this as a official oem 335 spare solution so NO you don't need a spacer etc....

I haven't needed to use it but if BMW sells this as their 335 spare tire kit then well it must fit a 335 right?

The tire size is fine. The question is the wheel offset. The pic you have is of an aluminum wheel, rather than the typical steel wheel we usually get for a spare. Some wheels with 125/80/17 tire fit (e.g. from Bavarian Motorsport), some don't (e.g from Leather Z). All depends on the offset. Why don't you just do a trial fit?

Will the spare tire from a Volvo s60 s70 w the same tire dimensions 125/80/17 work on e92 335i Coupe wo spacer and with existing lug nut bolts? The s60 spares and Acura tl spare 135/80/17 sell for under $100 on eBay!

Wrong bolt pattern (Volvo) and/or wrong center bore (Acura TL) size.
