Question Anyone considered the M-Performance Stripes on an e9x?

I have never really been a fan of stripes on most cars, but a couple months back I saw a couple m235s in Munich with M-Performance stripes and thought they looked pretty clean. Anyone know if someone has run these on an e9x?

I have an AW e92 and I know everyone does the black/white combo but I have been considering a gunmetal/white combo instead.

Opinions on this MS Paint masterpiece? haha

hahaha, the photoshop skill on point!

Never really seen the whole car with the stripes and can't really say I'll do it.
However I did see some e9x with just their quarter panel or lower side skirt with the stripe and it looks clean.

hmm perhaps something more subtle than that even.. I wouldn't do it unless I had some serious power to shut down any haters.

I have thought the same thing. I like the design, but I hate decals. Cheap, and look like something on a Mustang. If it was painted (Not viable probably), I would think it'd look cool.

I don't mind the stripes on the front quarter panel sometimes, but the stripes all down the car remind me of American cars.

It looks good on the F30 and I think that's because it matches all the other M performance parts on the car. Not feeling it on the E92. I think if you got the black kidney grills and did a gloss black vinyl roof it would look better than the stripes IMO.

Not feeling it, too loud for the e92's lines. Not sure if this is an option, but I do kind of like this and it's maybe a little more subtle:

I saw the stripes recently and thought it was very distracting, from the lines of the car underneath.

Yeah I would have a front lip, high kick spoiler, and maybe a wrapped door handle in the same color which would be paint matched to my wheels/rear diffuser. I have been planning the black kidney and roof for a while but I feel like every other AW e92 out there already has that.

That is definitely more subtle, but I don't think I am feeling stripes on the sides.

I think this is also just because the F30 is so much more angular than the e92s, which have much softer/more flowing lines

Those stripes don't do it for me but the //m livery on the safety cars for racing events are pretty damn sexy.

Hard to say, would be interested in seeing actual pictures of an E9x with this done. Sweet skills BTW
