Aftermarket gauges

Im looking to install a nice set of aftermarket gauges (or BMW factory) into my 328xi.....I think a nice little tri set of batt, oil, water gauges would give me peace of mind and be able to get a glance of real time readings....I am not too crazy about letting senders flash a light at me after something is out of range...especially the water temp or oil pressure!....

any suggestions?

thanks

JP

have you considered the P3Cars product, it is made for the 335 but all data but boost will work with the 328, I am saving my pennies (literally) for one. It will give you temp, adjusted speed, shift light, 0-60 timer and fits in the least useful vent location in the car. You can also do analog inputs if you don't trust the OBDII data.

Only draw back is it is over $400- vs. some cheap analog gauges, but it is also super clean looking in the cockpit, most people would never know it is there.

The other thought is to buy the electronic performance wheel. In sport mode, it will give you all the data you need and will be an awesome upgrade if you are looking to have a race/performance minded mod style. Big draw back is that it costs around $1500, but hey, the non electric wheel and a P3cars addon would cost that in the end.
