Apologies for reposting, but is it true that spark plugs need to be replaced at 40000ks?

40k untuned or 20k if your tuned. I change mine every 10-15k.

Depends if they're copper, platinum or iridium plugs

also dependent on your engine (ie turbo or NA)

Safest bet though is every 20k irrespective as plugs are not an expensive job/

I carry a spare set when I go to the track as well as a couple of coil packs
