My car wouldn't even start after I filled up with Valero E85 at 40 degrees. Propel fuel has made it essentially a none issue in the morning.

I know you live nearby so I am betting on bad fuel.
I use Valero and haven't had issues. I'm running ~e55.

One thing I'd like to point out for those of you that may have bad cold starts with 100% e85 is if you need to give it some gas so it doesn't die when you initially start up, just remember this is canceling the cold start sequence, so your car will not have been properly started. What I do is let it warm up for a tiny, turn the car off, turn it back on, and then I let it go through the cold start procedure once it finally can make through the start up without me having to give it any throttle

We have a local car on a custom ProTUNE with 100% E85. Definitively need to let it warm up.

Rev 3 only. I upgraded a few months back from a 2.5 and removed the vacume switch so the procede is controlling the PWM activation. Allows me to purge from the wheel which is a nice option when at the strip.

Propel fuels FTW

On a side note I called them (propel fuels) and they assured they don't reduce the amount of ethanol during colder conditions, but then again......

Any one have the Ethanol gage that use propel E85 that can provide some feedback? Just curious on what it reads. Knowing pump octane can fluctuate as well.

Propel in my area is around 82% to 85% currently. Most consistently 84.6%; to be exact

Info is derived from my content sensor via ProEFI.

Propel fuels are derived from sugars, rather than petroleum like others.
