E92 performance diffuser question - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

Im buying a performance diffuser for my e92 do you guys know if i have to paint it or it comes in OEM black? because i see most of the people paint that top portion of it.

It usually comes in black but just call the place you're buying it from and double check. GL

I heard different answers. Some have said it already comes in matte black, others said it came primed and ready to be painted. I've asked Tischer which sells OEM parts of course and they have told me it doesn't come in black but it comes primed and needs to be painted. I don't know if this info helps.

Thanks guys. I checked out the mtech diffuser at the BMW wholesale and it was painted black but they didnt have the performance one in stock . I guess i have to call the dealer.

Mine arrived primed, it was painted at the dealer.
Make sure to order also the stickers, they have different Part Numbers than the diffuser. My dealer forgot to order them and only realized when the diffuser arrived. Received them two weeks after the install.

The upper left and right parts are black stickers.
See photo below, I marked with red arrows.

Diffuser is painted black.
I tried and liked the look better with stickers so I put them on after a few weeks.
Stickers are already on in the photo.

Performance diffuser is exactly same as 335is diffuser. They all have these black stickers. You can decide to go with or without the stickers depending on your taste.

If you dont put the stickers on then you have the holes exposed ( 2 on left, 2 on the right). Just got mine 2 days ago cost me $253 at Monrovia Bmw. Then after i bought it they raised the price to $300.00 online only. It came in black and I had to trim some of my 09 bumper with m pkg, and this is a oem part, I was surprised. I thought it would just right pop in. Mine is a E90, maybe that is why?

No need to trim for E92/E93 M Sport. It fits just right.
Holes are not visible either.

Guys how many pieces total? The guy told its just two pieces but i checked with Tischer and their picture shows like 3 or 4?
