If you end up in the south bay, check out Santana Row for a lil night life. Bars and foods and some lounges.

If the weather holds up and you wanna enjoy good ocean view and good dining, check out Cliff House. Dining is downstairs. Gets windy/foggy at night, so layer up.

Awesome, quality chinese food can be found at R&G Lounge in Chinatown. Expect to wait an hr or so on weekend. Or if you want something more on the chill side, check out Mission Chinese food in the Mission.

Hit up Suppenkuche if you want delicious German brats/beer. Tommaso's if you want the best lasagna IMO. Clementine's if you want to bring a date for French cuisine.

Legion of Honor - beautiful exhibits and architecture, de Young, MOMA, Palace of Fine Arts - all good places if you have time.

Honestly, if you've been to SF before, skip the Pier and GGB. Depending on what you think is a good time out, there are many less "cliche" attractions in the city.

Good luck and have fun!

This. Bunch of great places.

Great places for eating and hanging out in San Fran also.

Haight and Ashbury for a little amusement from the locals with their funny signs or go thrift shopping!

Philz Coffee somewhere in SF. Heard it's extremely good from friends and yelp.

Could go to Treasure Island at night and take a look at SF looking all pretty with its lights and such.

Mitchell's Ice Cream or Bi-Rite Creamery while checking out Dolores Park sounds good if the weather clears up a bit.

If time allows it, go on a mission to find all the hearts and take pictures with them in SF. Various maps can be found online. A few hearts can be found at AT&T Park, Union Square and other spots around the city.

Off the grid can be a good experience. It's a food truck gathering that happens in various places depending on the day and time. More info can be found on offthegridsf.com

Steer clear of the Tenderloin area at night if you value your life.

There's a bunch of other things I'd suggest, but I just can't remember them right now. Hope this helps!

Bar Bocce in Sausalito is a great hangout (right across the GG bridge from SF.) They have a great outdoor patio and bocce court, complete with fire pit, adjacent to the shoreline. Boat slips and the harbor are just feet away.

Nearby is the Sausalito seal (sculpture in the SF bay); great views of SF and Alcatraz.
