For sale is lower control arm kit I purchased new from ECS Tuning. New this is $552.95 from ECS. I will sell shipped for $425 OBO. I am selling my 335i and getting an M3 so no longer need these. They are in perfect condition. They add around 0.75 degrees of negative camber to the front and improve front end handling and steering due to the added negative camber and better/stiffer bushings.

Here is product link from ECS Tuning:

How is this not the $380 TRW version?

http://www.ecstuning.com/BMW-E92-335...Arm/ES2586480/

It has the TRW stamped into the metal now genuine BMW.

I didn't notice that, but looks like even the OEM one's have TRW stamps on them, here is a link to just the OEM wishbone kit, which has the same stampings mine has.

I can take a screenshot of my order details page from ECS that shows these are the OEM one's and not the TRW one's if anyone is interested. PM me and I can send it to you.

I had a question about the brake leveling rod looking like it was missing the bolt. It's still there, it's just connected to the arm now and not the leveling rod. See pic below.

Ian asked me to come over and help out. A few months back he did pick up a set of genuine BMW tension strut rods and the lower control arm kit (with leveling rod) from me.

As for which "brand" of parts you're looking at in his photos, the TRW branded parts do not have the BMW logos or M insignia on them. Looking at his photos those are the genuine BMW parts.

BLKLYZ to answer your question - genuine BMW parts.

While you're here, how many miles are control arms supposed to last?

michael1284 - that will depend heavily on road conditions and driving style. Ride height also plays a roll as it will "play" with the angles which the arms see on a daily basis.

On a stock M3 it should last at least 50k miles, right?

The stock bushings on my 335 died around 50k, but that was with a drop at about 40k miles.

Just trying to see if these are worth the $ savings if they're already 10-11k miles on them.

Hey, not a problem at all. That was actually a great question. Didn't even notice that. I was sure hoping they were true OEM as that's what I was charged for when i bought em.

ECS is a great vendor, bought quite a few parts from them and they've always been great to deal with.
