Curious: What's My Car Worth?

I have a 2010 335i 6 Speed Manual with Sports package and Logic 7.

15,000 miles.

KBB says it's worth $34,000, privately and $31,000 trade.

Honestly, I doubt that very much.

What would be a more realistic number for trade and selling privately?

The car is in absolutely perfect condition and all scheduled maintenance is done religiously. It's never seen a car wash. I've personally made sure it's avoided as many swirls as possible by using proper washing techniques and sealing every 4 months.

Love the car and it's completely paid off, but I'm having some thoughts about an M3 when the new coupe is out.

Try Edmunds as well.

With your description, low $30k's seems right. I was in the market for an e92 this fall/winter and CPO 328's were on dealer's lot's for $27-29k and CPO 335's were $31-33k with more mileage than 15k.

Don't expect the dealer to give you $31k for it though, unfortunately. From my experience, they offer a few grand below KBB regardless if it's excellent condition in your eyes

Edmunds usually tends to say your car is worth less then it is and KBB says its worth a little more then what it is..try to estimate between

5-10% less than what KBB says is fairly accurate.

Thanks guys. Very helpful. Someone brought up a good point about trading and buying from the same dealership. My only concern here is its harder to get a great deal on the car you buy. They might make me feel good on trade value but not so much on the price of the new car.

I did mean the new m3. Thought it will be out in a year or so?

Things are changing man. No more M3s in the near future. You'll want to read up on the new format.

I've gotten really busy and haven't had time to read up on all the BMW changes. Figured things would always be the way they have been. Is it now an M4?
