I have bought a Sony KDL55HX853 and have to pick it up. Has anyone else managed to get a huge screen in a coupe?
(Box dimensions W x H x D cm. 142 x 86 x 33)

tried getting a large printer box in mine just before xmas, was a real struggle.

best of luck, you may get it in, in the front anyhow, but may not be able to see out/change gears!

I take it you don't have folding seats? I put a hudge screen TV in my car this weekend with no problems at all but my rear seats fold down. I thought this was standard but maybe not.

Can you not drop the rear seats and slide it in from boot?

Sorry, yes rears do drop down but just dubious because of the physical size.

I recently bought a 46" and it was a struggle in my F10 but I just hoped for the best. However, in your case you have the carton measurments so surely it's not beyond the wit of man to actually measure the boot space to see if it will fit? Or am I missing something?

Yep a few minutes with a measuring tape is likely to give you a more definitive answer than the opinion of forum members. Reckon it should fit in easily.

That's the other problem, I'm currently offshore and fly in Norwich, which is closer to the shop (London) than grimsby is, and I have my car at the airport.

limits are 160x90x38

Thats measuring at the thinist/shortest points. You might even get longer in dependant on front seat position. Rear seats down btw.

Confirmed, it will fit in just about, as above moving the front seats may help a bit.
