How much clutch fluid needed? - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

I was going to do the BMS clutch valve replacement mod and wondered what type of fluid and how much is needed to the job?

Clutch fluid shares the same as brake fluid if i remember correctly

I bought some nice motul brake fluid for the brake fluid change but I'm not sure what the best fluid for the clutch would be.

Correct. If you do it right, you won't need much, 1 bottle of high-quality DOT 4 brake fluid is plenty. I use ATE Typ 200. You must read the DIY here and elsewhere, otherwise you can bleed the master dry, which I did the first time.
