Congrats on the 330, at the van. My friend runs a used car lot and he says those are impossible to sell.

It's not black! It's the Monaco Blue (I hope I spelled that right). It certainly looks black in this picture, and at night as well

There is so much info on this forum and if you are mildly mechanical, you can do all the work and maintenance yourself. Definitely keep up on the maintenance.
I wish I was able to.... xdrive gives too much grip!

Yea, I noticed a wealth of information on this site (but can be hard to search for it sometimes...). I've been reading many things here for the past week since I put down the down payment haha.

Oh, so we're color-cousins.. It's a beautiful color especially when it's sunny outside, but you gotta keep it clean, otherwise it starts looking like a dull/dirty black..

Congrats !! Rmb to do some maintenance first. etc....Change oil, air filter, carbin filter, coils.......Also try to wax your car first, just try to protect the paint throughout the winter.
See that you're also from Canada. Would like to recommend this website to you: www.autopartsway.ca
Not the cheapest but they sell OEM parts and ship in CAN, so no customs to worry about.

OMG that site is something I needed! thanks a lot!

Bookmarked!

And, I'll be replacing those right after contingent on what maintenance the used dealer lot said the did already. The thing is, from Carfax/Carproof, there seems to be regular maintenance at a BMW dealer however, I don't know any details regarding said maintenance. The car is 6 years old, and considering its winter already, I want to replace the battery ASAP. What's stopping me is that I heard you need to code in the new battery... I have neither a laptop (never needed one, even for uni hahaha) or the cable...

As promised, here's a picture of my BMW after a coin car wash. Still lots of salt residue left... Too cold to take a towel to it. =/

But boy, she does look sexy when shes wet!

No Problem. there are lots of certified BMW mechanics in TO. However, I can recommend one to you as well. His garage only fix BMW. And most of the time he is willing to code your car for free. I will PM you his information. he is in Richmond Hill area though.

Mike @ Maranello is also good for OEM stuff. There are coders in Toronto that can help with that but you can also try RMP as I believe they can do it too as part of their battery service. Do a search in the Canada section as a few members have discussed it recently cause it's about that time for most of us.
