Calling All Wheel and Tyre Guru's! (Advice Needed).

Hello need some advice from you guys. i have a 2007 E92 330i Coupe. I am currently looking for new wheels and tyres which i will purchase in the next few days.

I want to go for the deep concave wheel look and decided on the competition pack wheels in 19inch which i believe are the M359's i think.

I want to do know how far can i push it on stock suspension without it rubbing?
Like tyre sizes, width of front and rear tyres, and offsets etc.
I am willing to buy spaces if needed.

Gave Chris a PM from CMWheels and he said both front and rear offset is et40 and recommended me to run 225/35/19 front and 255/30/19 rear with 12mm spaces. would i achieve the concave look if i had this set up?? if not what will be the best set up to get the deep concave look? if it all to do with the et (offset) not too sure what that means.

Thank You for taking your time to read my post.

A wheel is either concave or not, adding spacers won't make a wheel more concave than when it was first manufactured.
Spacers will push the wheels further out from the suspension though, which will fill the arches nicely, giving a much better aesthetic.

I'd take the advice Chris has offered,as you won't get a better stance for your new wheels by doing anything differently without running the risk of having the tyres rub.

Yes, I'll listen to Chris as his advice give you the best look without rubbing. Be sure to keep original size tires. I had some Et27 offset with 265/35 instead of 255/30 tires on and i had to roll my arches but i loved the look as it was super aggressive.

You should be able to run 265/30 tires without rubbing !

but if i go for

front: 8.5j et40 with 255/19/30 with 12mm spacer
rear: 9.5j et40 with 235/19/35 with 12mm spacer

would these be a good look and rub?

Are you really suggesting running a wider tyre on the front to the back?

Have you got the sizes the wrong way around?

Your original question has already been answered.

12mm spacers will look better, the wheels will sit further out in the arches.

If you're considering lowering (coilover/springs) go with the 10mm spacers.
