Wheel size and offset help
Was planning on purchasing aftermarket rims for the winter setup on my 2008 m3.
The rims have the following specs: 5x120 ET 15 18x8.5JJ Was planning on running 245/45/18's for tires set up square. Would this fit ok with this low offset vs the OEM 29 and 23 offset? Or is the difference too much? Also, what would the max/min offsets likely be so that spacers are not required? Could not find any info on min and max offsets that may fit without modification. Thanks! |

Maybe this will help you its about Oem/aftermarket wheels with different size spacers and tyres.
http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=262054 Seems to me that most people there choosed something like 15mm spacer with oem 18x8.5 et29= 18x8.5 et14, but with 245/40/18.

+1 about using 245/40R18 as opposed to 245/45R18.

Would I be able to get away with 245/45/28 with et15? Or will the front tires rub? |

Since the 245/45R18 tire is taller than we've tried, I cannot recommend it.
